The Saint Anthony Museum in Lisbon is located just next to the namesake church. Saint Anthony is one of the most popular saints of Portugal, and local traditions maintain he was born in a house situated on the site where the museum is presently located. On display there is a miscellaneous collection of pieces generally related to the life of Saint Anthony: books, cloths, icons, as well as gold and silver objects formerly used to decorative purposes by the neighboring church.
