The Medeiros e Almeida Museum of Lisbon showcases an outstanding collection of items which fall in the category of fine arts, as well as of decorative and applied arts. The collections are displayed in 25 rooms, and one of the highlights refers to the sections dedicated to the European painting and sculpture (covering a sequence of time between the 17th and the 20th century), with highlights like George Romney and Thomas Gainsborough.

Visitors can also delight in admiring Napoleon’s dinner table displayed in the Silver Room and the fountains brought from the Palace of Versailles showcased in the Lake Room. Oriental items are featured in the Porcelain Room, with highlights like pieces dating back to the Han and Qing dynasties. There’s also a consistent collection of furniture, the pieces designed by François Linke standing out as the most valuable in this respect.

Lisbon Card holders can visit the Medeiros e Almeida Museum with a 40% discount of the full price.
